The PARMENIDES Award 2026

The PARMENIDES project has been recognised with the Best Energy Management Innovation Project 2026 – Europe award by BUILD Magazine as part of the Facilities Management Awards 2026.

The awards, announced in April 2026, celebrate organisations demonstrating excellence, innovation, and impact across the facilities management sector. Winners are selected based on their performance, technological advancement, and contribution to sustainable and efficient systems.

PARMENIDES was recognised for its development of innovative solutions supporting energy communities, particularly through EMS4HESS—an advanced Energy Management System built on the PARMENIDES Energy Community Ontology (PECO). This system enables interoperability across energy assets and optimises hybrid energy storage, contributing to increased self-consumption and improved grid stability.

This award highlights the project’s contribution to advancing smart, flexible, and scalable energy solutions aligned with Europe’s clean energy transition.
