PARMENIDES’ Joint Cluster First Webinar

Join Us for a Webinar on Interoperability in Energy Communities: Insights from the PARMENIDES Project

We are excited to announce that the PARMENIDES Project will be a key participant in the upcoming cluster webinar titled “Interoperable Concept for Energy Communities: Different Perspectives from the InterSTORE, FLEXCHESS, and PARMENIDES Projects.” This event is scheduled to take place online on October 16, 2024, at 10:00 AM CET.

As the energy landscape continues to evolve, the importance of interoperability in energy communities cannot be overstated. Our webinar aims to shed light on this critical issue by bringing together leading experts from the InterSTORE, FLEXCHESS, and PARMENIDES projects, each offering unique perspectives on the challenges and solutions in this space.

Highlights from the PARMENIDES Project

Representing the PARMENIDES Project, Vieri Emiliani from Maps Group | Sharing Knowledge and Mark Stefan from AIT Austrian Institute of Technology will deliver an insightful presentation on the innovative energy management systems we are developing. They will provide an overview of the PARMENIDES Project, highlighting our efforts to create robust, interoperable solutions that will drive efficiency and sustainability within energy communities.

Key Presentations

  • Nikolaj Candellari (CyberGrid) will kick off the session by discussing the challenges of integrating energy communities with the new IEEE2030.5 protocol. His presentation will focus on the execution strategies required to successfully implement this protocol, which is crucial for ensuring seamless connectivity in our energy systems.

  • Habib NASSER (RDIUP), representing the FLEXCHESS Project, will explore how the interoperability of hybrid storage systems and flexible loads can enhance both the profitability and sustainability of energy communities. His insights will underscore the pivotal role that flexibility plays in modern energy management.

The event will also feature a panel discussion moderated by Ludwig Karg from B.A.U.M. Consult GmbH, representing the int:net project. This discussion promises to be a dynamic exchange of ideas, offering attendees the opportunity to engage with thought leaders on the future of energy interoperability.

We invite you to join us for this informative and engaging webinar. Whether you are directly involved in energy management or simply interested in the future of sustainable energy, this event will provide valuable insights that you won’t want to miss.
